- SCHOOL HAPPENINGS -
Cataraqui Woods Elementary School is pleased to welcome students and families from the Kashechewan community to our school. These students will begin attending Cataraqui Woods during the March Break and will be learning in our two French portables for the remainder of the school year. We are proud to be able to host and support this displaced community during this time. Our school values kindness, inclusion, and respect, and we look forward to learning together and building meaningful connections. We are grateful for the opportunity to extend our Cataraqui Woods community and ensure that all students feel safe, welcomed, and supported.
We are incredibly proud of all the students who represented our school at the recent Limestone Skills Competition. Their dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm truly shone.
Our Grade 7–8 team delivered an outstanding performance and earned a silver medal—a fantastic achievement that reflects their hard work and creativity.
Our Grade 4–6 team also impressed with a strong showing, demonstrating excellent skill and determination. Although they narrowly missed the podium, their effort and sportsmanship were exceptional.
Well done to all participants for showcasing their talents and representing our school with pride. Your accomplishments inspire our entire school community.

Hot Lunch Reminder
To reduce wasted food, if your child(ren) are going to be away on a day that they've ordered hot lunch, you have the option to pick them up by noon (12 pm). Otherwise, the lunch will go to a child in need.
If you know at least two days in advance of the child's absence on a scheduled delivery day, you can log into your Lunchbox account and cancel your order.
