Hot Lunch Reminder
To reduce wasted food, if your child(ren) are going to be away on a day that they've ordered hot lunch, you have the option to pick them up by noon (12 pm). Otherwise, the lunch will go to a child in need.
If you know at least two days in advance of the child's absence on a scheduled delivery day, you can log into your Lunchbox account and cancel your order.

The JEDI Club raised a whopping $570 at our bake sales in January! Additionally we received loads of donations from CatWoods families and staff. Your generosity meant that we were able to make 30 care packages, each valued at around $30-$40. Each bag was filled with: a home made card, a Tim's gift card, 2 pairs of socks, toe warmers, hygiene products, toothbrush and toothpaste, self care products, and sweet treats.
We partnered with Feed the People who are distributing the care packages for us to unhoused women in Kingston. Feed the People serves meals daily in Belle Park to roughly 50-70 people and on colder days, up to 120 people. They are entirely volunteer and donation based. Since COVID, they have served over 220,000 meals.
Bonnie, our contact at Feed the People, wrote us to say:
"Thank you so much! You don't realize how amazing of a gift this is. You are letting our most vulnerable know you care for them. Your kindness means so much to all of us."
Thanks to all who contributed to this important cause. Your generosity has helped to make people's lives a little warmer and brighter this Valentines.
