The J.E.D.I Club will be selling buttons April 29th & 30th, May 1st, and May 4th to raise money and show support for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two Spirited Individuals (MMIWG2S). The buttons feature a logo designed by our own Ms. Ally. Buttons will be sold for $2. Every purchase of a button will enter the student into a draw for a T-Shirt featuring the same design. The money raised will be donated directly to the Native Women's Association of Canada (NWAC). We encourage everyone to wear Red on Tuesday May 5th (Red Dress Day/National Day of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two Spirited Individuals).

You are invited to join us for the launch of the KFL&A Infant & Early Mental Health Care Pathway on May 1, 2026.

This new pathway reflects a shared community commitment to supporting the social, emotional, and physical development of young children, from birth to six years of age. It is designed to help identify concerns earlier, support the use of a common developmental screening approach, and strengthen connections to services and supports for families across the region.

The launch event will be an opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the Infant & Early Mental Health Care Pathway
  • Hear from community partners involved in this work
  • Explore how the pathway will help connect children and families to the right supports, sooner

 Date: May 1, 2026
Time: 9 to 11 a.m.
Location: Southeast Public Health,
221 Portsmouth Ave., Kingston
Auditorium A & B

 Register today: https://forms.office.com/r/pYtCZDCvHb

Space is limited for this hybrid event. Once in-person capacity is reached, additional registrants will be invited to attend virtually and will receive a link to join online.

We hope you will join us to learn more about this important initiative and how it will support children and families across KFL&A.
